Forever Forward Incremental Repository Disk Space Usage During Transform (Inject)

Post by mc1903 »

Hi,

With Forever Forward Incremental is a copy of the .vbk made either as the working copy for the transformation/inject or as a precaution/roll back before the .vib transformation/inject process starts?

I just want to be clear that I understand the repository slack/working space requirements with FFI.

In the following example, if the Full Backup .vbk is 2TB and the Mon .vib is 250GB, how much additional temporary repo disk space (if any) will be used during the transformation?

Thanks,
M

Hello! Up to 250GB, since the VIB cannot be deleted until the merge has been performed.
