Forum SMTP server IPs

Hi, our firewall blocks SMTP connections based on geographic location. I'm not getting email notifications when there is a reply to my forum posts, so I'm guessing they are being blocked. Is there any way to find out what country the forum's SMTP server resides? But getting the range of IP addresses for the servers would be better, so I can whitelist them. thank you
