Hello everyone,
I know maybe this is an old discussion, but... I have an immutable repository at full capacity (Red Hat Linux Enterprise 9.1), and I need free some space.
I already use the root user account to quit de immutability flag over my items on the repository.
I already delete them, but the space, simply was not released.
¿any ideas?
I'm working with VB&R 12
I'm already rescan and reboot the repo.
I'm already open a case (no answer yet).

Re: Free space immutable repository
Hello Mauricio
Welcome to the forum.
Do you use XFS on your hardened repository? With XFS, we use FastClone/reflinks to store full backup files.
Data blocks on the hardened repository will be used by multiple backup files. Deleting one full backup file will not give you back the entire space of a full backup.
Can you share the case number with me?
Best,
Fabian
