Hi all,
I've installed Microsoft Search Server Express on a server different from Veeam machine, but I don't use it too much and indicization takes too much space on Veeam server.
How can I free up space from Veeam server (I've already removed search server from Veeam enterprise manager)?
Thanks

Re: Free up space taken by search server
Hi,
You should find files created by the Search server in \VBRCatalog\Journal\[YYYY_MM]\[search-server]\.
You can manually delete files and sub-folders contained in it. Thanks!

Re: Free up space taken by search server
Hi, thanks for the reply.
Support (case #02293509) told me that is not so safe delete those files, so they suggest me to take a backup of that folder and wait for some days to see if everything works without problem.
Is that the best practises?
Thanks again!
