Free vs License question

Post by Saeyo »

We currently have 70 licenses and very few of those are not being utilized.
I have some machines I am trying to implement backups on.
I do not need incremental backups, nor do I need things automated as I do a backup of each machine once a quarter when I can get downtime on the machine to do so.

Can I use veeam to do these backups by just creating manual jobs? Or do I need to buy more licensing?

Based on your requirements, it sounds like VeeamZIP will be perfect for backing up those special machines. VeeamZIP is essentially an ad-hoc, manual full backup and it does not consume a license.
