Hi,
i just tried a Backup (V5.0.1) and my VM freezes now, such as the job itself.
The VM got the message "creating snapshot" for hours... is there any reason in the software?
I just cant get the VM back to normal state.
Something like that occured so far?
Regards

Re: Freezing VM
VM Version 4 in ESX...
The Job just stops @ 38 % in Veeam... and now the VM itself shows in vSphere Client "creating snapshot", i cant start / stop or do anything else with that VM. Already restarted the Veeam Server, so the Job could stop unregulary.

Re: Freezing VM
Hello Dave,
Actually, VMware has timeout for snapshot creation/removal operations, which is (from my memory) 15 mins. So I'm just curious why you were waiting for hours... Could be an environmental issue - your job stops because it waits for snapshot to be created. Please send all the logs to our support team, they will investigate this. Thanks!
