Full backup on next run

Post by withanh »

Is there a way to schedule the next occurrence of a job to be a full backup? I know that I can right click a job and tell it to do a full backup now. I also know that I can edit the job properties to tell it to do a full backup on Fridays, but then I'd have to edit the jobs again and unset the full backup on Fridays. I really just want to tell it to do a full the next time it runs.

Thanks!

Add me onto the offical request. Being able to manage the full backups easier would be a nice feature. I also wouldn't mind a powershell cmdlet that would run a full backup instead of just starting the job.
