Full Backup one time per Week

Hi,

we are replicating alls Vms to a different Datastore. We want make 1 Time Full Backup per Week to a cifs share. I configured a share, but veeam is creating
backup Files with a suffix, like vm-name-2011-03-01T145807.vbk.

Is it possible that the backup job over writes the old backup File so only 1 backup file wil be exist per vm?

Hello Nauti,

You should be using retention policy to manage your backup files, so in order to have 1 restore point, you should set the retention policy to 1 and that's it.
