Full backup timeframe

Post by Daveyd »

Is there a way (doesn't seem like it) to schedule Full backups every 2 or 3 weeks instead of weekly or monthly?

I have a 1TB file server that I am doing a 6 day incremental with weekly fulls on Saturday with a 30 day retention period to an Exagrid Appliance. 30 days worth of backup files (incrementals and fulls with Veeam dedupe) take up around 3TB of space on the Exagrid appliance. I am trying to figure out a way to save some space on the Exagrid appliance so I was thinking about doing Full backups every 2 weeks with 13 incrementals in between. However, in the GUI there is no way to select that. Am I missing something?

There is no such option in UI.

Any chance of that granularity of Full backups making it into v6?

No changes in v6. This has been a super rare request.
