Hi, thanks for your reply.
Seems to be same issue, it ends with message "Session became orphaned", then same" Job has failed unexpectedly".
During launching that job, a pop-up appears "Unable to publish VM"

What VM are you trying to restore? Is your vCenter Server up and running when the restore job kicks in?

It's a Windows 7 VM. vCenter server is up and running.

Actually, I was not trying to do this, as this is a pretty much common troubleshooting step (worked as a support engineer long ago ). Yes, please continue working with your technical engineer directly. Thanks!
