Hello Eisback

A gateway server is just a managed server. To have a clean migration, I would remove and re-add the machine in the backup console.

--> You had gateway server configured as "automatic selection"
Remove the old windows 11 machine from the managed server list and add the reinstalled machine as a new managed server.

--> You have specified the windows 11 machine as the gateway server
Temporarily configure the backup server as the gateway server, remove your windows 11 machine from the managed server list. Then reinstall the your windows 11 machine and re-add it as a managed server. Configure it as the gateway server for your repository.

Best,

Hi, finally we were able to connect the new gateway server without removing it from the backup console! We just needed to edit the according backup repository and then all veeam components were uploaded and installed automatically! In the beginning we struggled with the firewall ports but after it was set correctly the veeam part worked as described. Thanks!
