GFS advice for Backup Copy

I have been reading GFS Retention Policy a few times, not sure I fully understood how it work.

I would like to make a daily backup with 14 days restore points.

What I want to do is make a daily backup and every month full backup up to 6 backups. Also keep 2 yearly backups.

Should it be like this?

Backup Copy
Copy every: 1 day
Restore points to keep: 14

Weekly backup = 0
Monthly backup = 6
Quarterly backup = 0
Yearly Backup = 2

Backup Job
This is what I currently have in Backup Job for hourly backup.
Restore Points: 22
Incremental Backup
Preodically every: 1 hour between 19:00 19:59 (Mon-Fri)

In my previous post, I've mistyped, "19:00 19:59", it should be: 09:00 19:59 for Backup Job.

Backup Job run every hour between 09:00 19:59 which mean I will have 11 hours of Restore Points.

However, On the Backup Copy, it will be treated as 1 restore point from 11 hours of Restore Points from the Backup Job?

Yes, backup copy will create a single restore point corresponding to the latest VM state during each synchronization interval.

Ah I see.

Instead of single restore point - Is there a way to create at leasts 3 hours of restore points (from Backup Job) to backup copy even it will run daily?

No, you should set up synchronization interval corresponding to the desired frequency of restore points.
