GFS exclude the 2 first Weekly from GFS restore points

I followed the GFS best practices to backup our data.

A Backup Job for daily backups with 21 restore points on Repository 1 (to be able to recover files for the last 3 weeks).
A Backup Copy Job with GFS for archive backups with 4 weekly 12 monthly and 3 yearly om Repository 2.

As repositories 1 and 2 are undersized, we are running out of space on both.
At T=0, all my full restore points are :
Week -1 Full from Repo 1
Week -1 Full from Repo 2
Week -2 Full from Repo 1
Week -2 Full from Repo 2
Week -3 Full from Repo 1
Week -3 Full from Repo 2
Week -4 Full from Repo 2
Monthly -1 Full from Repo 2
Monthly -2 Full from Repo 2
Monthly -3 Full from Repo 2
Monthly -[...] Full from Repo 2
Monthly -11 Full from Repo 2
Monthly -12 Full from Repo 2
Yearly -1 Full from Repo 2
Yearly -2 Full from Repo 2
Yearly -3 Full from Repo 2

As you can see I have duplicate restore points on Repo 1 and Repo 2 for the first 3 Weeks that I want to avoid or minimize to get only :
3 Last Weekly on Repo 1
1 Weekly on Repo 2 but not the first one, the very last one. The definitive view will be :

Week -1 Full from Repo 1
Week -2 Full from Repo 1
Week -3 Full from Repo 1
Week -3 Full from Repo 2
Week -4 Full from Repo 2
Monthly -1 Full from Repo 2
Monthly -2 Full from Repo 2
Monthly -3 Full from Repo 2

Is there a way to select which week we want to backup with a GFS Backup Copy Job ?

Hi Florent, if you switch the number of weeklies in the backup copy job from 4 to 2, you will meet your requirements.

Hello foggy, thank you for your reply.
But if I m not mistaken, that will keep the 2 last weeklies (7 days before and 14 days before and not -21 days and -28 days before).

Correct, that's what I thought you wanted to achieve. If you want to keep only the older weeklies, then it is not possible with the current job settings, retention counts back from the most recent weekly restore point.

Actually, just thought you could set regular retention for backup copy to 21 and 2 for weekiles, this will cover your needs.
