GFS from netapp vault
We have a primary and secondary netapp storage with vault relatoinship, and as third backup an repository on a windows 2016 server with refs. I would like to have one snapshot at primary, 30 snapshots at vault and then save backups for 1 year in repository. What is the best way to achive that? Multiple jobs, weekly and montly or just put settings to save 365 restore points in repository? Would 365 restore piont take much more space in repository then to save 52 weekly?

Re: GFS from netapp vault
It depends...
You can try with SF + I 365 RestorePoints (or a bit more if you manual start backups). As you save all the incrementals it will consume more space.
Maybe it is a good option to add a BCJ for the weekly.

Re: GFS from netapp vault
I created backup job with one snapshot at primary, 30 snapshots at secondary vaul netapp and 2 restore points at archive repository. Now I am able to make a backup copy job with weekly, montly and quarterly retention.
