Hello,
Can we add prefix or suffix on the file name for GFS backup file? Example add W on the file name which indicate the file is Weekly, M for Month and Y for Yearly.

Re: GFS naming
Hi Handian
We had it in earlier versions and removed it. Since then GFS backups are tagged in the database and not in the filename.
Why do you need it?
Best,
Fabian

Re: GFS naming
Hi fabian,
I just want to copy the month and weekly full backup to separate disk. Any idea?

Re: GFS naming
Hi Handian
Use a periodic backup copy job and let them run every week. Manual copy is not recommended. The backup server would know nothing about it.
If you don‘t want to use backup copy jobs, you can try the script at the end of the topic I linked in my previous comment.
