hi
say i have some vms
and i aside from daily backups inside the network, i want to have extra retention outside the organization in external hard drives
so i assume i can use a backup copy job
now, the question is about the copy job gfs. let's say that i have 1tb of backup data. and in the gfs i use monthly restore points. the gfs state that it keeps restore point as full for archival. so, does that mean that at the next restore point (after 1 month) i will have 2 tb there? and on the 2nd hop i'll have 3tb there?

Re: GFS question
Hi Lior
It depends on your storage.
If you use reFS or xfs, your fullbackups doesn't need the entire space.
Veeam - Fast Clone
You can calculate the neccessary storage with the restore point calculator.
