Is there a way to configure a GFS-style retention policy on Veeam replicas? Ideally there should be a form similar to the one used to configure retention for backup copies:

Veeam replicas appear to be limited to a simple retention policy based on the number of restore points, e.g. doing 6 hourly replicas only provides recovery up to the last 6 hours. It would be desirable to archive replicas for other periods. For example, besides keeping replicas for the past several hours, some users also need replicas from the last two days, last week and last month.
Using backups instead of replicas just to get a proper retention has the trade-off of significantly longer recovery times.
Thanks.

Re: GFS Retention on Replicas
Nope, as replication jobs are used solely for short retention. For long-time one, kindly, use backup and backup copy jobs, instead. Thanks. Is there a way to configure a GFS-style retention policy on Veeam replicas?

Re: GFS Retention on Replicas
Additionally, you can try to use VM copy jobs for long data archival, if for some reason backup jobs are not applicable to your use case.
