Granular Backups
Hi Guys,
Just a question for you...
I have a file server and i only want to backup three folders. The folders are the main three shares on the network.
Does Veeam offer granular backups - as in i can select just those three folders to backup and nothing else? I know i can perform a granular restore, just wondering about granular backups...
Thanks

Re: Granular Backups
As far as i know: no.
You could exclude all the other vmdks you dont need within your job. So you could just backup the vmdk with the data on it. But i haven't seen any option to select certain folders for a backup.

Re: Granular Backups
Hi, to backup individual files, you can use the File Copy job Veeam provides. Thanks!

Re: Granular Backups
You are correct. There will be no incrementals.
