We have a backup job with guest indexing enabled.
It appears to be working properly except the "Program Files" directory is not being displayed, I assume that it is not being indexed either.
When we look in Enterprise Manager we see all of the available backup jobs and can select any one of them. The list of the C:\ drive then appears and we have access to all folders EXCEPT the Program Files folder, strange.
I also tested a single file restore and that is working as well. It just appears that for some reason the Program Files directory is being excluded.
Any ideas on why that might be?

Indexing does not happen for %temp%, Windows and Program Files folders by default. You can choose what folders to index via advanced job settings. See our online User Guide for further reading,
