guest OS 'otherGuest' is not supported

Hello Community,

We just finsied setting up a prospect on a trail of Veeam BR V5. Out of 6 VMs on a single host 1 is failing with the following error "Freezing guest operating system Failed to perform Veeam VSS freeze: guest OS 'otherGuest' is not supported". The guest OS is Windows 2003 R2 Storage Server. Can anyone point us in the right direction to resolve this issue.

Hello Jorge,

Try creating the following registry key on your Veeam Backup server. This key enables Veeam VSS support for "other" guests. Thank you!
