Hardware De-Dup
We are looking to change our backup storage from Fibre Channel San to possibly a hardware de-dup system (possibly a HP storeonce), we currently have about 35TB of vm backups (14 days worth)
1. I just wondered what systems everyone else out there was using as a backup medium
2. Is hardware de-dup worth it if i have windows 2012 R2 server De-Dup enabled ?
Look forward to any feedback
Cheers in advance

Cannot comment on the first question, you'd better search the forums, there're plenty of topics where others describe their setups.
Regarding Windows Deduplication, do you mean you have it enabled inside the backed up VMs?

Re: Hardware De-Dup
Not sure whether it is a good idea to enable both Windows and hardware deduplication. Hardware deduplication is typically more efficient than Windows 2012 native deduplication. Btw, here's a good existing thread regarding Windows dedupe, worth reviewing.
Besides, it is recommended to have dedupe appliance as a secondary repository, not the primary one.

For the first question, I would recommend looking through the existing threads that contain recommendations from other community members > http://forums.veeam.com/search.php?st=0 ... %2A+device
