HeartBeat for every Job
Hello,
Do you plan implementing something like heartbeats for backups?
For example: We have 20 servers and each of this server have own backup job. Every sever should done backup job minimum once per 24 hours. If server don't do this we receive alert that server: "v019 don't have fresh backup since 24 hours, please check this manually"
We experienced few days ago that a couple of servers has incorrect credentials to VBR. The backup silenty failed and we didn't receive any notification because VBR should sent this.
The solution is to configure on the endpoints mail notification or to implement some type of heartbeat on the VBR site.
I created a Case # 02315813 on the support veeam.

Hi Bolo,
We have exactly this functionality in Veeam ONE that monitors your Veeam backup infrastructure and immediately notifies you when there is no backup performed for a specific VM.
See this link for more info > VMware vSphere Alarms (alarm name is VM with no backups/replica)
Thanks!

Yes, that's for Hyper-V and vSphere only, but we are planning to add agent support in Veeam ONE in our next release, so this alarm should be available too.
BTW, how many backup agents do you have and plant to monitor? Is this for on-prem infrastructure or you're providing services to other clients?

On-prem infrastructure, but we're using different hypervisor than Hyper-V/VMware so we had to use endpoints clients.
We already have ~ 50 endpoints. This number can be ~ 80-100.
Do you know possibly date of the release Veeam ONE with agent heartbeat?
