host VMs vs VM selection
Hi,
Can someone explain to me the difference between selecting a VM from the default search list which is inside hosts vs selecting the VM icon first and then selecting the VM you find?
I noticed doing it via the VM shows whether it's on or off (green right arrow means on). But what is the net effect of adding VMs either way to a backup job?
Also, if we change which way a VM is selected for the job does that mean a new full backup is required?
Thank you

Him there is no difference how you add VM to the job, it`s just a matter of convenience.
However if you use VM containers such as folders/tags/hosts etc. beware that VM can migrate and disappear from the backup source.
Thanks!

Re: host VMs vs VM selection
If VM is shown as running on one screen and not running on another, that is probably a bug, so please contact our support team for the investigation. Thanks!
