Hosted Exchange - Item Level recovery

Hi,

We run a hosted exchange (2010) system on esx 5.1 - just wondering if the Application recovery for exchange works on hosted exchange systems?

I backed up our DB server and tried to browse the mailboxes via the exchange explorer included in Backup & Replication 7 - but no mailboxes are shown in the window, no database is mounted either by the looks of it. Using the latest version of veeam

Naveed, just to confirm, you are trying to add Exchange database in Veeam Explorer for Exchange via Microsoft Exchange Item Level Restore wizard, aren't you? Do you get any errors on mounting the DB? Have you tried to do that manually, after restoring the database file from backup?

Nope, not mounting the edb file - just trying a restore via the management interface - will try restoring the edb file only and browsing it that way
