how can use svmotion for finalize instant recovery

Hi

in instant vm recovery when recovery of vm has been complete after that we have to option for finilize recovery :

1 - Migrate to production
2 - stop publishing

but in your document said about svmotion that we also can do svmotion in this step for finilize rcovery now how can do that ?
is that your means connect to vcenter and right click on recovered vm and select migrate from NFS datastore to production storage?

i confused is that your means we have two solution for migrate our vms are these corrected ?
1- select migrate to production in veeam backup & replication
2- After instance recovery finished for finalize can connect to vcenter via vsphere client or web and select migrate ?

With quick migration Veeam Backup & Replication will perform a two-stage migration procedure — instead of pulling data from the vPower NFS datastore, it will restore the VM from the backup file on the production server, then move all changes and consolidate them with the VM data.

svMotion - in this case, original VM data will be pulled from the NFS datastore to the production storage and consolidated with VM changes while the VM is still running. Storage vMotion, however, can only be used if you select to keep VM changes on the NFS datastore without redirecting them.

now i did svmotion but now the status of my backup that did instant recovery is now Mounted and still i can select stop publishing and migrate to production now what do i have to do ?

If you click "stop publishing", Veeam backup will stop publishing the VM files on vPower NFS server. It won't make any harm, because the VM has already been moved and running of producton storage.

You should stop publishing the VM as soon as storage vMotion is finished moving the recovered VM into production.

Correct, Instant Recovery source VM will disappear after you click "unpublish", however the VM that is in production should stay intact so you can continue to use it without having Instant Recovery job running. Or do you want to keep the VM running from vPower NFS?

Storage vMotion cannot be used if you select to redirect changes. You should either disable redirection, or choose Veeam migration to finalize restore.
