How do I configure my bkup jobs for offsite backups?

Hi everyone,

We have an offsite location and successfully deployed the WAN Accelerator.
I created the Backup Repository pointing to this server
Now I edit one of my jobs and I want to check "Configure secondary destination for this job" under the Storage option but I get the following pop-up message:

Backup & Replication
---------------------------
Create at least one Backup Copy or Backup to Tape job first.
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------

I am obviously not 100% sure how to set this up but I thought I was going the right route.

We are having a local backup at our colo site and sending jobs to an off-site location as well.

Do I need to create ANOTHER job?

Hi - yes, just like the message says, you need to create a Backup Copy job to copy your backups. Then, you will be able to use this job as a secondary destinations for your primary backup jobs. Thanks!
