How do I get our Veeam on our DR to replicate backups that were done by our Production Veeam?
I have a DR Site that has backups that were done by our Veeam Production site.
Every weekend we copy our production backups and move them to our DR site.
How do I get our DR to replicate those images?
Our DR is completely blind and does not see our Production.

How do you copy those backup to DR site? Backup copy job? If so, just create an additional backup copy job and point it to third site. This way you will have three copies of your backups. Thanks!

Sorry I should have put more details in our setup.
We copy to an external drive and move it to our DRsite.
Is it possible to use another Veeam on our DR site to do a replication job as we move the copys over?

Replication Job must have access the Source Host (primary site)
If not, You have to manually restore this backups each week again from the usb drive on DR Site, if you want them as a vm on the DR Host.
Without a connection from Veeam Backup Server to the primary site and the DR Site, there is no Replication Job possible with veeam.

Thanks Foggy
Wasn’t aware of this possibility.
I knew, that I can configure a backup repo as a replica source (for the data to replicate) but I always thought, for replication the source hypervisor needs to be available

Re: How do I get our Veeam on our DR to replicate backups that were done by our Production Veeam?
Even with replication from backup, it's recommended to control everything from single backup server, cause otherwise you will need to apply several tweaks to make this scenario work, such as creating dummy backup jobs on the DR backup server and mapping them to the backups shipped via external drives. Thanks!
