How do I restore guest files from a VeeamZip backup

Post by Carlos@STA » Nov 07, 2012 3:32 pm

Hi Everyone,
We are currently looking at using VeeamZip to do our monthly offsite backups, using a USB HDD.
The VM's we are interested in recovering from are all W2k8R2.
Can anyone point me to where I can find instructions on how to restore guest files from the VeeamZip backup.
I have searched the forums and not found anything, so its either very simple and requires no posting or my searches missing something.
Anyway hope someone can help.

Since VeeamZIP backups are just normal Veeam B&R full backup files, you can always import them to Veeam B&R console and use any type of restore (including guest files restore). Thanks!

You could just double-click VBK in Windows Explorer, and go from there :)
