How do I schedule copy jobs?

Post by jmertensnetuk »

Hi All,

I want to run a copy job on a Saturday morning, in schedule I have set "during the following time periods only:" to just Saturday morning but last Saturday it just say on "Waiting for the new copy interval"

Is there another setting I need to adjust?

- What's sync interval set for the backup copy job? (Copy every setting on the first page)
- Has a new restore point been created by backup job within the last sync interval?
- Has backup copy already copied a restore point within the last sync interval?

Thanks!

sync interval is 7 days
the backup job it copies creates new restore points every day
yes there were new restore points i believe read to go

the copy job was changed from "run continuously" so it has previously copied things

the change has been to set schedule for Saturday

It seems that the backup copy job has already created a restore point during this week. Thus it sits in waiting state.

If you don't feel this is true, then, reach our support team for further investigation.

Thanks!
