All,
We'd like to implement VEEAM replicator. How much WAN bandwidth is needed to replicate our VM's from customer sites to our Datacenter?
Are there any best practices available concerning bandwidth / replication?
Is there a general rule? For example: "to replicate X number of virtual machines you need X bandwidth?"
Best Regards
Steven

Re: How much bandwidth needed to replicate virtual machines
Steven, no there is definitely no general rule, as it depends on the volume of changes between replication cycles. What you can do to determine the required bandwidth, is setup your replication jobs to run locally on a couple of VMs, and watch the size of VRB files produced with each incremental job run. This will give you an idea on the volume of changes for your specific workloads. Thank you.
