I'm evaluating Veeam 13: Veeam Application Server + Veeam Infrastructure Application and i have issues to use the hardened repository.
Maybe the documentation is wrong, or i understand something wrong. Please help!
In VAS i added as managed server the VIS server and i see the total storage available and VIS shows me the connection to VAS.
When i add the repo, i should chose Linux Hardened Repository?
But there i just get an error message "Unable to use server as it is not a hardened repositoy installation".
Only adding Linux works. Is that fine or do i have
Thanks!

Re: [V13] How to add VIA-based hardened repository to VSA
Hello Philip,
Step 0. You must deploy Linux Hardened Repository from Veeam Software Appliance using the corresponding option in the GRUB (proxy option wont do it
).
Step 1. You need to register Veeam Software Appliance in Veeam B&R using Add Linux Server wizard. User certificate-based authentication instead of credentials.
Step 2. You need to assign a role of Linux Hardened Repository to a newly registered Veeam Software Appliance.
If that does not work - please share the screenshot of an error. Thank you!
