Hello I have a virtual machine that I rent in a cloud service . This machine hosts a Windows Server 2012 R2 with Exchange 2013. I Veeam v9 how do I install the backup agent to save the exchange ?
The error code is 0x00000780 failed to create persistente connections to admin$ shared folder on host
Failed to install service Veeam deploysvc was not installed on the host

Can you please clarify if you have access to the hypervisor hosting your Exchange VM or not? If you don't have access to the hypervisor, you need to install Veeam Endpoint Backup to protect the entire image of the VM.
BTW, since we are talking about Exchange and cloud service, have you considered using Office 365?

I can connect via a web console or rdp . I want to save the exchange database to évantuellement granular recovery.

Consider using Veeam Endpoint Backup for that, as Vitaliy has suggested.
