Hi,
how do I properly backup the Sharepoint 2010, is it backing up the sql dbase is enough with the VSS and Image aware enabled? do I need to backup the WFE at the same time to proper back it up?
and on the restoration, do I need to configure the Surebackup or I can do it through the explorer.
Thanks,

Re: how to backup Sharepoint 2010
In the backup job with the SharePoint server you have to enable Application Aware Processing. This way we will be able to detect it is a SharePoint server. More info about this can be found here.
Restores can be done via the Veeam Explorer for SharePoint. SureBackup allows you to simulate a restore in a virtual lab and guarantee that you can always restore it.

Right, you can perform SharePoint item-level recovery via Veeam Explorer for SharePoint or restore full VM, if required. SureBackup functionality is for recoverability testing, not actual restore in the first place.
