We are in Veeam Backup & Replication 12.
We keep 30 restore points in our jobs.
Incremental backups retention policy for 30 days
Keep weekly full backups for 4 weeks
Keep monthly full backups for 3 months
We would have request to keep a restore point for longer time period. Like our user would request to keep last Fridays backup until the end of next month.
On VBR, how can I change the expiration date of specific backup restore point?

Hello Bckvc
You cannot change the retention time of a single restore point.
But you can export Fridays backup as a standalone VBK file and specify a retention:
https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backu ... ml?ver=120
The exported restore point won't use additional disk space if you export it to the original repository and it uses ReFS, XFS or object storage.
Best,
Fabian
