How to clean a Database

Post by OMW72 »

Hi all,
Currently we have the problem that on one of our BackupServer the SQl Express Database is running out of space.
Is there away to delete the oldest entries to release space maybe with a skript?

Thanks for your help.
Regards,
Oliver

Hi Oliver

Not by yourself. Please contact customer support to see if there is anything they can do.
Or migrate to PostgreSQL, which doesn't have the 10GB limit from MSSQL Express: https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backu ... ml?ver=120

Hi Fabian,
Thanks for your quick response in this matter.TI assume the migration to PostgreSQL would be the best.
