How to clean automaticly old backup ?

Hi, I have a strange behavior with veeam backup.
In my backup job configuration, I set to keep 7 vm backup in the repository.
But when I browse the repository I can see around 20 restoration point for each vm.
And it's a blocking point for me, because now, my repository is full.

What I have forgotten to keep only the lst 7 backups ?

Could you please clarify what backup method do you use and what is current backup schedule?

In some cases for making you able to restore last 7 backups, Veeam B&R has to keep more than 7 restore points.
