how to excavate a license

Dear PM's,

when the instance-based-model got introduced, veeam also added the option to merge a license in the portal to create one licensefile and to "sum-up" all the purchased products/instances.

Now I've got the situation where I'd like to use an existing (free) instance license, but there is no way to manage that remote-machine by our VBR-server. What I need is an option to kind of split an existing license with say 30 instances into one with 1 instance and one with 29 instances.

Hi Michael

I suggest to open a license support case and ask them if they can split the license for you.
They should be able to do that for you if that machine belongs to your company.
