Hello,
we are running a Veeam 11 server connected to a vCenter 7u3. The primary storage for the backups is a Dell DD6300 appliance version 7.7.2.0. On this website
https://www.veeam.com/alliance-partner- ... ory&page=1
the DD6300 is not even listed as ready. Can I upgrade to Veeam 12 with this version on the DD6300 or do I have to do a firmware upgrade of the DD 6300 prior to the upgrade to Veeam 12?
Best Regards

Re: how to find out if Veeam 12 is compatible with storage
Hello Wandbutt
Data Domain appliances are not object storage appliances. It is a deduplicating storage appliances. Therefore I moved your topic to the main forum.
For Data Domain, please check compatible DD OS versions in our user guide. If your Data Domain appliance runs DD OS version 6.2 to 7.11, it will be supported as a DDBoost based repository target in Veeam Backup & Replication v12: https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backu ... kup-target

To answer your question, you can upgrade to V12 with your Dell DD6300 appliance version 7.7.2.0.Dell Data Domain (DD OS version 6.2 to 7.11) with DDBoost license
