How to get details of backup repository which is on proxy

Post by asawant »

I have a scenario where VEEAM Backup Server is connected to multiple proxy servers which has storage connected to it.

fro VEEAM Backup Server. For a particular job who has backup repository on proxy how can I get the details of the backup repository?

I want to find out which drive it is on. Disk information and Volume information for that drive on proxy from VEEAM Backup Server. Is it possible? If yes How?

Thank you,

Amit

Hi Amit and welcome to the community!

Yes, you can right-click on the job choose edit, go to Storage tab and check the backup repository name.
Then, you should go in Backup Infrastructure -> Backup repositories -> you will see a list of all repositories with the host names of the servers (proxies in your case). Thanks!

You can also look for the repository name for the particular job right in the backup jobs list in Veeam B&R console.

Thanks actually I want to find out the Disk on proxy server belongs to which storage box using Get-WmiObject Win32_DiskDrive commandlet. Can I run it remotely from backup server without using credentials?
