how to monitor veeam br 6.5 using snmp ?

i want to monitor all jobs result & status of proxy on my veeam backup server.
am using prtg as monitoring software..thanks to guide me on this.

Hi, Vicky. Yes, It’s possible with Veeam Backup and Replication to monitor execution of backup and replication jobs via SNMP traps.

Prior to using SNMP traps there are three things that have to be specified:

• General SNMP settings in Veeam Backup & Replication
• SNMP service properties on the trap recipients’ computers
• SNMP settings for a specific job

More information regarding it can be found in the corresponding User Guide (p.294).

As mentioned, you can browse the content of resulting .mib file, using whatever mib-reader you like, and check there the corresponding oibs. Thanks.
