Good day,
I have a backup job with some restore points. I would like to be able to delete a restore point. I found this but it relates to missing restore points
https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backu ... ml?ver=110
If, in the backup job properties, I right-click on a restore point, I only have the choice to copy the path, there is no other menu selection available, see the attachment (how to attach an image here?). How can I delete an arbitrary restore point?
Best Regards

Re: how to remove restore points?
Hi Wandbutt
Welcome to the forum.
Can you maybe share with me why you want to delete specific restore points?
The product doesn't provide an option to remove a single restore point. You can delete only delete all backups or missing restore points within the Veeam console.
If your goal is to save storage you can lower your retention settings. On the next backup job run, Veeam will remove outdated restore points if possible.
Pictures can be uploaded to a hosting service like https://imgbb.com/ and then shared in the forum.
Best,
Fabian

Re: how to remove restore points?
Thank you for your reply. That's what I thought, too so I reduced the number of retention points to be kept. But yes, I understand, it does not make any sense to delete restore points in this way. Reducing the retention numbers is the way to go here.
