Dear Veeam community,
Our organization has some jobs configured with a 3 year GFS retention. We recently implemented new naming standards for all our jobs. However when I look at my backup sets under 'Home -> Backups -> Disk' I see how all the backupsets still carry the old jobname.
My understanding is that if I delete the backup and run a new full it will name it correctly. However for legal reasons I cant delete this backupset. The old names are very confusing if you have dozens of them. Is there any other way how I can get it renamed without deleting it?

Re: How to rename a backup set
Hi Maanlicht
We have a KB article for this question. The process requires you to remove it from configuration. Deleting the backups is not required.
