We are using Veeam BR v8 to backup our VMWare infrastructure.
We have Veeam installed on our ONsite location on Windows machine, backups are stored in USB 3.0 external hard drive
We have Veeam installed on our OFFsite location on Windows machine, backups are stored in USB 3.0 external hard drive
The first backup will be at least 500GB. It will be hard to the transfer that much of data over WAN.
So we got the offsite external hard drive onsite. If we copy the initial 500GB backup file locally and then ship the
offsite backup drive to offsite location.
Does onsite Veeam recognize the offsite external hard drive later and will do all the increment backup copies ONLY going forward ?
Is there anything special I need to do with the offsite backup drive which is currently onsite, so later when I connect the offsite
backup drive at offsite location. All the incremental backup copies should work fine. Rather than doing the whole 500GB initial copy again.

Re: How to setup first Offsite backup copy in LAN ?
The first link does not have any screen shots.
It will useful if Veeam has published the document with screen shots and an example.
It will help lot of new bees, this will cut down calling Veeam support for basic questions.
