good day, I beg for an help with MSSQL.
A customer is protecting an SQL server with a Veeam Job ("process transaction logs with this job" is active) AND with a maintenance plan. I know this is wrong but I cannot act freely for "non technical reasons".
I tried to understand from maint plan settings if it's processing logs. I did not succeed. How should I do? Ot it's sure the maint plan does process logs?
Maybe the most easy and safe workaround is to switch the setting in veeam to "perform copy only"? At least on the days before a datacenter physical relocation, which is currently our main concern?
thanks in advance

Re: How to understand if an MSSQL Maintenance plan is processing logs
Hello,
there are maintenance plans for "everything", so one has to read the SQL code in the maintenance plan. If the maintenance plan causes issues with logs, then you posted the solution with "copy only"
Best regards,
Hannes
