if any case backup veam success but restore database failed?

dear all,

I never user Veam before, I am dba and I concern about the database,
I had backup our server SQL Server VM successfully, and want to test to restore VM and check the database.
is there any case that backup VM success but restore database failed?
is any, then what cause this happen?

Hello,

If backup was taken successfully, then the restore should not be a problem. If you want to verify your backups, then you can use our SureBackup jobs or Virtual Labs (to test your application/db). Here is how you can do that: DataLabs Overview, How To (Video) and the User Guide page.
