Immutability - supported backup jobs

Hi, we use a Linux Hardened Repository and it works really great. I understand Immutability is currently supported for Image-level backups. Am I correct that Image-level backups are VMware and Hyper-V backups, while other types of backups like Agent and File backups use a different mechanism? I want to be sure I set expectations right. Thanks!

Agent backups are also image-level. File share backups are not though. Please, refer here for more information.
