I have a question about immutable storage recovery from a crash.
You setup immutable server using linux with a raid setup for the OS and another RAID for the immutable repository both on separate physical disk.
Lets assume something bad happens to the OS where it will not boot anymore for whatever reason.
Assuming the immutable storage that was on different disk and different RAID was not affected by the crash.
The OS gets reloaded are you able to mount that immutable repository and still use it or if you lose the OS everything is just gone?
I am wondering from an immutable repository perspective is there something about the volume that would not allow you to gain access to it?

Re: Immutable Repository Crash Recovery Question (Theoretical)
No, it's a completely regular volume so you should not worry about any of that.
