Impact of Motherboard Replacement on Veeam Server

Hi,

Due to a failure, the motherboard of the server where Veeam Backup & Replication is installed needs to be replaced.
Will replacing the motherboard affect Veeam's configuration or operation?
Is there anything that needs to be done after replacing the motherboard?

Hi Yuya,

Don't expect any side-effects long as the OS installation remains intact. If there are issues after the replacement, please open a Support Case and let Veeam Support review.

But not aware of any situations where this mattered -- at worst, you might need to do a Configuration Restore, but doubt it will be necessary.
