Hi All
I am hoping someone can help as I maybe doing something incorrectly.
I have been using V&R 5 with no problems. We backup all our VM's to a NAS Share on a monthly incremental cycle.
At the end of the month I copied all that months backups to another share for safe keeping. I am now looking at upgrading to V&R 6. I have build a new V&R server v6 and when I try to import the vbk file from the backup I am presented with the message 'access is denied failed to open \\servername\sharename\file.vbk in readonly mode.
my v&r 5 sever database is on SQL and my new test V&R 6 is using SQL express
The NAS share has full R+W access for the backup account on the new v&R server
I have only been using veeam for 2 months so please forgive if I am making a school boy error

Re: Import Vbk backup
Hi, please refer to the Known Issue section of the Release Notes document included with your v6 download. Thanks.

Re: Import Vbk backup
Thank you for your reply. I have read and followed the below release notes, but when I rescan it says there are no backups and if I try to import I get the same error
"Importing backups from CIFS share fails if share authentication is required.
To work around this, disable share authentication, or create backup repository
pointing to the CIFS share with the correct credentials, and perform rescan operation"
