Hello,
Been trying to import a Windows Server 2022 VM and it fails. AWS support was not of much help insisting the version is not yet supported by their import process.
Did anyone succeed in importing 2022? and if so, how did you manage to make it work?
The error reported by Veeam is: Error ClientError: Windows Installation not found
The error from using awscli directly is the same: "StatusMessage": "ClientError: Windows Installation not found",
Also, is a there a way to import/convert a vmware VM into ec2 format without using AWS's import process? is there an open source script maybe?
Thank you,
Mohamed.

Re: Import Windows Server 2022 to EC2?
Hello,
Veeam is using the AWS import and Windows 2022 is not supported. The only workaround that comes into my mind is using a fresh Windows 2022 and copy the data manually.
Best regards,
Hannes
